Mapping Interface System

The Quintrex Plant Records system allows for a non-vendor specific mapping interface. Representing a convergence of systems, the interface provides a seamless integration for your staff with the highest accuracy possible.  Offering a real time solution, the sockets interface supports the two-way communication between the both systems allowing plant and mapping information to be continually updated.

How it works
The socket interface is based on connection-oriented data flow using INET addressing (IP address and PORT) over a TCP/IP network.  After a connection is established to the QDS Plant Records Socket Server, commands are then sent via the socket interface.  The socket server processes the commands and returns a response back indicating a success or failure.

QDS also sends a command to the socket server whenever changes are made in the QDS plant management system.  Since facilities are managed through the mapping system, only customer information can be added or changed.  When plant information is modified in the mapping system, updates will be sent back to QDS to be available for assignment.

Fast, Accurate & Reliable

Through the sockets interface, you create an integrated and streamlined flow of information that is fast, accurate and reliable.  Providing real time access to important plant and mapping records, you can provide your subscribers better customer service with up-to-date information.
