Convergent Billing allows you to provide a clean concise bill that gives your customers both the summary and detail information they want all in one. You can include up to ten different services such as cable, paging, cellular, telephone, wireless, electric, water, etc.

This system operates in a Windows Client/Server environment. As the heart of the Telecommunications Information & Billing System (TIBS), it generates and maintains comprehensive and detailed records on each subscriber, including subscriber profiles and billing and payment history.

The system separately supports data for an unlimited number of companies and exchanges. It is automatically and continuously updated by the highly integrated Service Order System, requiring data to be entered only once. The Convergent System then distributes the information to appropriate systems throughout TIBS.

Quick Reference Capabilities
The relational database allows direct access into the Billing System by Account Number, Telephone Number, Subscriber Name, Address, and Company Name. Information is also accessible through Pattern Search, allowing you to retrieve information by searching for a string of characters of any length.

Customer Charges
The System maintains detailed records of both installed and removed equipment, as well as equipment remaining in place after a subscriber is terminated.

Tolls
The Billing System provides a method of easy look-up for detailed information such as number called, as well as the time, date, type, length and the appropriate charge for each call. These records are maintained by date, billing cycle, and carrier.

Billing Statements
In addition to maintaining comprehensive records of subscriber charges and payments, the system generates organized and detailed statements, reminder notices, and final notices.
