Line Testing Interface System

The Line Testing System gives CSRs the ability to immediately test a subscriber's line when they call in a complaint as well as view, analyze and save the results. The line testing functionality has creates changes that make up a new Trouble Reporting System designed with longer description fields and additional drop down menus to allow for quick and easy access to interfacing programs.

Line Testing

With the click of the mouse, you can immediately initiate the line test for an open trouble report. When the test is complete, you can view and analyze the results. The results will contain Summary, VerCode Codes, Measurement and Result Codes for the line test that will help you pinpoint the problem. When you run the analysis, you have access to all pertinent information for that line, including any past trouble reports entered, who entered the original problem (if applicable) and the last two line tests that were performed.

The line testing feature provides the CSR with excellent tools for making a thorough analysis, allowing them to accurately route the problem to the service technician and, in turn, increase response time for your subscribers.

Questions

Each unique report code gives you the option to display questions. The CSR sees the predefined questions when entering a report code for each trouble report. This will ensure that the CSRs ask the questions that are imperative to the service technician's evaluation of each individual problem. The system also maintains the history of previously asked questions and responses including all of the details of previous problems.

Plant

Plant information is also available at a moments notice with the Line Testing System. You can display details for the cable pairs assigned to that telephone number as well as the complete line circuit information such as line class code, class of service, map number, pair comments, etc.
