E911 System

The E911 MSAG system gives you the capability to validate subscriber addresses against a Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) and sends captured subscriber E911 information to E911 service provider(s) through the use of the Client Server Service Order program.

ASCII text based files received from your county MSAG provider or providers can be accepted in one of four formats and are easily entered in the Quintrex database within minutes. Additional minor changes that may need to be performed can be completed through the E911 ACD Maintenance program.

Once the MSAG database is loaded, in service orders you can validate subscriber's E911 address against the MSAG on the E911 screen. If an address entered Whether this is a twice a day, daily, or weekly routine in your schedule, the E911 MSAG program enables you to automate three processes.

These three processes include maintaining your MSAG provider information, validating and creating a record of each subscriber's E911 address, and processing these E911 address records to be transferred to the actual E911 provider. It quickly becomes part of the everyday process of entering service orders with just a few addition of key strokes.

The E911 Transmission File Build and Update program can be run at any time, as long as the E911 screen in service orders is not being updated. The E911 text file generated contains one header and one trailer record along with the detail records in the middle. Once generated, your PC will save the text file where you want it too. Some may put it to a diskette while others may save it to their hard drive or to the AS/400. How this text file is sent to an E911 service provider is up to you.

Also within the Transmission File Build and Update program you can track and delete E911 file invoices sent to E911 providers. The text files generated are maintained on your computer until you choose to delete them.
