Marketing Tool
The EBPP System is a great marketing tool with numerous user-defined messages that can be set up throughout the website. When customers enter the system, they can review their statement, view current equipment, see billed or unbilled toll or make a payment all on-line. Plus, the colors for the website are completely customizable to better represent your company and to portray the site as a cohesive entity. You also have the option to display your company logo(s) on the toolbar of the EBPP System as well as other screens throughout the system. As an added benefit, with each activation you build a database of customer email addresses which you can use to sell new services and special offers.
User Activation
The EBPP System offers two activation methods. First, you can require your customers to contact your office to register for their initial password to access their statement information. Or, you can send an initial password to your customers and allow them to activate their account online. The login page of the EBPP System offers the security you need to ensure only authorized individuals to have to access to their accounts. In addition, during the initial activation process, the customer is asked to specify the email address they wish their password to be sent to if they forget or misplace it. This ensures a forgotten password is never sent to the incorrect email address or customer.
Billing Information
The Billing Information link allows the customer to view a complete summary of their current billing information. They can see their billed, unpaid charges as well as their current service and billing address.
Equipment and Service
The Equipment link gives the customer a complete list of currently installed equipment and services by telephone and market number. This information includes: unit price of each item, date the equipment or service was installed/disconnected and total cost by line.
Transactions
The 'Transactions' link allows the customer to view transactions for the current billing statement. A drop-down box gives them the option to view transactions from previous billing statements.
Statements
The 'Statements' link gives the customer an impressive on-line version of their current and/or previous month's billing statements. When reviewing their toll charges, if they have a question about one of the toll records, they simply click on the telephone number and the EBPP System automatically retrieves the person and place called.
Pay Bill
The Pay Bill feature of the EBPP System allows customers to pay the entire unpaid balance, a portion, or overpay the current month's billed charges.
The total unpaid, billed charges are automatically populated in the 'Amount To Pay' field. However, that amount can be overridden for partial or over payments. Customers can make payments via AC Checking, ACH Savings or Credit Card. Once the payment is processed they receive a "thank you" with a receipt of payment and confirmation number. The customer can then print the receipt as proof of payment.
Contact
To maintain open communication with your customers, the EBPP System also includes a 'Contact Us' link. This allows customers to send your company an email message with billing or service issues they may have.
