Continuing Property Records System

CPRs


The Continuing Property Records (CPR) System is PC based, and operates in a Windows full color, mouse "point & click" environment. The CPR System provides the ability to maintain a record of fixed assets for inside and outside plant facilities. Other assets, such as buildings and vehicles can also be included in the CPR System.


CPR Setup

The CPR System allows for an unlimited number of companies, with multiple tax districts for each. The system automatically provides a transaction number for each company, which reflects the number of completed Continuing Property Records within each company.

The CPR system will handle an unlimited number of units for each company, providing you with full growth potential.

Add/Change/Delete Activity

The system allows you to move an item from account to another or edit the CPR at any time. When adding an activity, the system will prompt for company, account, and unit information. Once defined, fields will pop up for all other pertinent information needed.

Adjustment Allocation

The CPR System allows you to define the "material", "other" or total amount to be allocated (spread) to property units. The allocation is based on the percentage each property unit is of the total property units included in the allocation. The amounts may be positive or negative. The allocation can spread as far back as your records allow.

You can also reverse a previous allocation, print the allocation for review, or print and update your data records. Reversing a previous allocation will erase all data for that entry and correct all totals.

Retired Units Activity Purge

The CPR Retired Units Activity Purge allows you to purge activity from the files that are no longer needed. The activity for all or selected exchanges, and for all or selected taxing districts can be purged. You can indicate the date through which the activity should be purged. Only activity on retired units will be purged. The system automatically prints a report which shows the activity to be purged for review before you actually authorize the system to remove the units.

Reporting Capabilities

The CPR System offers a full range of report capabilities. The central database allows for sorts on and customized reports including all database fields.

Predefined lists include an "Activity list", "Summary by Account" and a "Unit Code" list.
