Service Orders
The Service Order System operates in a Windows Client/Server environment as the driving intelligence of Telecommunications Information & Billing System (TIBS). It can be fully customized through service codes, the routing of internal information, and screen sequences for each specific type of service order. Plus, an unlimited number of user-defined service order types can be created at your convenience.
Service Order Entry
Service orders may be entered and completed during the billing cycle without worry of interrupting the billing process. During the billing process it actively tracks other system functions to ensure data integrity.
When opening a new account, the system automatically assigns a service order number and then provides you the options of having the system automatically assign a telephone number, present a list of current available numbers to choose from, or to manually assign a number. Once an account and telephone number are assigned, you are free to enter service order information in the order that works best for your company. Service orders can be saved; to be finished later, or they may be completed immediately. A routing screen provides you the ability to ensure all departments who need to review the order, do so before it is completed. Plus, the additional Switch Interface allows carrier PICs, equipment and services, and line circuit information to also be automatically updated to your switch(es). This cuts down on customer response time as well as possible errors by re-entering information into the switch.
