Auto Create Disconnect Service Orders
Through the Auto Create Disconnect Service Order module, service orders can be automatically created to either restrict or disconnect services for customers who receive a final or non-basic delinquency notice. This automated process saves time and effort involved with manually creating, processing and closing service orders; all while providing consistency in handling delinquent customers. An added feature allows the program to activate toll restriction onto delinquent accounts and automatically prompts the creation of a LIDB update to restrict calling cards and collect or third party billing.
A variety of selection and sorting criteria enables you to choose only those customers with the delinquency type you want to process. The ability to select, review, and exempt customers through a simple search process, allows you to easily sort and process by groups or by a single account. Since views can be customized to meet a variety of different informational and processing requirements, validation assures that codes are not selected for both Inclusion and Exclusion.
Through the Switch Interface or Communication Server, this program allows the necessary switch instructions to be specified and created with the auto-disconnect service orders. Specific to telephone market disconnects, this process will auto-close the order with no further effort required from the CSR.
In addition to the time saving benefits, this program offers the option of adding specified charges and equipment on created orders. You can choose to disconnect equipment, eliminating calling plan changes when toll service is restricted but the line is not disconnected, or choose to leave all plant equipment connected allowing for faster reassignment.
