Positions

System Administrator

Candidates for this position will have frequent interaction with other employees and clients. The position requires 2 years experience (or combination of schooling and work experience) in working with Microsoft Windows workstations and servers in a mixed environment. Applicants must have experience with networking and security, including Active Directory and Windows Domains, and must have excellent communication and organization skills. Knowledge of Citrix and Microsoft Exchange are also required. Experience with IBM System i and applying PTFs is strongly desired.

The System Administrator will resolve network connectivity issues, configure/install/upgrade operating systems for employee and client systems, enforce company security policy, and participate in hardware planning/maintenance.  Candidate will share on-call support coverage and travel occasionally to client sites.

Qualified candidates will provide technical support in specialized areas of our software.  Candidates will work directly with the development staff to research and resolve inquiries.  A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is required and Telecommunication knowledge and experience with IBM i5 and/or other network resources are a plus.

Qualified candidates must be talented and versatile professionals with excellent verbal and written communication skills, self motivated, desire variety and challenge, and work well under pressure. Available positions require extensive telecommunication knowledge.  Experience with IBM i5 and/or other network resources is a plus.  Extensive travel is required to install, train, and support clients on the Quintrex software.

Software Developer

Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years experience in event driven programming using Delphi or Visual Basic.  Telecommunications, telephone switch provisioning, IBM iSeries or .net framework are also preferred.  Excellent written and verbal skills are required as well as a desire to work in a team environment.

Position includes designing, coding and testing both small and large scale projects. General telephony experience and specific knowledge of toll rating is a plus. Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years experience in Visual Basic.NET. Previous iSeries experience is preferred. Excellent written and verbal skills are required as well as a desire to work in a team environment.

Quintrex has an exciting opportunity for an experienced iSeries Software Developer.  Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years experience in RPG IV & CL.  Excellent written and verbal skills are required as well as a desire to work in a team environment.

Position includes quality assurance testing, documentation and distribution of IBM i5 software releases to clients. Individual should have knowledge of the IBM i5 or its predecessor, the IBM AS/400, application development and testing, and a strong commitment to the delivery of the highest quality software products. Must be detail oriented, and have excellent written and verbal communications skills. The individual will work closely with application developers. Two years experience in software testing and quality assurance procedures required.
